ד"ר איצקוביץ' הוא פסיכואנליטיקאי, פסיכיאטר, חבר מייסד של הפורומים הבינלאומיים של השדה הלאקאניאני ושל ה-Ecole לפסיכואנליזה של השדה הלאקאניאני בפריז, E..M.A (אנליטיקאי חבר אקול) ומורה בקולג' הקליני של פריז, מחבר מאמרים וספרים רבים.

While Freud connects analytic interpretation to transference at the point of considering that outside transference all analytic interpretation is wild, the question arises about the actuality of interpretation in psychoanalysis.

Does it have to wait for the installation of transference or is it a condition for its production?
Can any word of the analyst be considered an interpretation? How do we evaluate its effects?
What changes with Lacan in respect to analytic interpretation?

The conference aims at having a grip on analytic interpretation as devoid of meaning. This is an interpretation whose effect would not be production of new meaning, but an effect of a hole. The aim of such interpretation, in relation to the end of an analysis, would be poetic. This is the paradox that we will try to demonstrate: what would be a hole that pushes to the writing of the symptom.
